Léguevin to Toulouse, 23.5 km

Lots of photos in this post as there’s not much worth describing regarding the trail into the city. It was a numbing journey from dormitory towns to outer suburbs to inner suburbs until finally getting to the actual city. The city is beautiful – known as the Rosé city, not because of wine , but because of the terracotta bricks used in building all its historic buildings. And the city was packed, as if the entire metropolitan population of 1.5 million had descended on downtown for the day. The city is home to the headquarters of Airbus (no factory outlet store that I’m aware of) as well as France’s space and satellite companies. The large university is technology focused and it seemed that every student was sitting at a bar, restaurant or cafe for the day. The city was humming! Here are some pics. You will need to click on them to bring up the complete image.

The one with the bridge also features the Hotel Dieu de Saint-Jacques, a UNESCO site due to its connection with the camino.
The following is a series of human pyramid building outside the Basilica of Saint Sernin. Fun to watch. I was just in front of the ambulance crew😀

Is there a reason they make the human pyramids? Hopefully no one needed the ambulance crew. Have fun
